The images displayed on the nuLOOM website have the most accurate colors possible. However, it's important to note that rug colors, sizes, and patterns may vary slightly depending on how the rug is made and the size ordered. This is due to different monitor resolutions and lighting, which can cause a slight difference in color.

Each handmade rug is unique to the artisan who wove it, and these variations are not considered defects. Bunching, creases, and folded corners are common occurrences when unrolling a new rug, but these waves will flatten within 2-3 weeks as the rug is used.

To help flatten the rug, there are several techniques that can be used. Back rolling involves rolling the carpet out, then rolling it back up reversely with the backside up, and letting it sit for a day or two. Placing heavy objects on affected areas can also help flatten the rug, and for corners that are sticking up, curling them back and placing heavy objects on them in the opposite direction can be effective.

As a last resort, the rug can be placed over a cleared concrete or similar area in direct sunlight for up to two hours, allowing the rug to absorb the sun's heat and flatten out. If a large concrete patch is not accessible, the rug can be flipped over and a hair dryer used on the affected areas, being careful to hold the hair dryer 7 to 12 inches away from the rug and using a medium setting.
